Launcher wont download rs3

Downloaded the new launcher thing, logged in, am on the RS3 page, with a blue "install" button, but when i click it, it opens the "install at which location page", i click download and install with its pre-set "program files (86)/jagex launcher/games/runescape" and it crashes at 7% and says ERROR - the launcher has experience an error and needs to close - process returned an unknown error code

how do i download runescape 3 now?
