I've never had any issues with crashing until the new launcher. Now on my laptop I randomly have game crashes to the desktop. Checking event viewer I see rs2client exe causing ntdll.dll errors.
I've done everything possible to fix this situation, I finally ended up refreshing my win 10 OS, including wiping everything, and updating every single driver. All went well the first day for 3-4 hours. Last night within 45 minutes - crash, check event viewer, same error. Did some DISM commands, did SFC, everything is good, cleared Jagex cache. Logged in this morning played about an hour before a crash.
This does not happen on my Desktop, I run the same OS and same build. - Win 10 Pro Build 19044.2604,
Extremely frustrating, I've narrowed it down to teleporting and bossing.
I've talked to a few other people having crashes since the new launcher, they have the same symptoms yet different dll files involved.
I don't know what else I could possibly do to remedy this situation, other than play on my desktop only.
I do have a Linux laptop I could try the game on, it currently has the old launcher installed so I really hate to update to the new launcher (cringe) but for troubleshooting sake Id like to try it, I can always wipe it clean reinstall Linux and use the old launcher, i think I have that file around somewhere.
Any suggestions friends?
