Jagex Launcher Problem

I have 2 Runescape accounts but can only access one of them at a time. If I want to access the 2nd account I have to completely uninstall Jagex Launcher then reinstall it and log in the the second account. Anyone any ideas how I can have both accounts showing on Jagex Launcher so that I don't have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling Jagex Launcher.

The launcher only allows you to be signed into 1 account at a time now, and they have to be Jagex Accounts to be able to sign in.

Based on your other thread , you have converted to Jagex Accounts.

Which you say you are able to sign into both, just have to sign out and sign back in.....the 2nd account was turned into a Jagex Account, rather than imported to the first one that was made (when the conversion is done, you're placed on the character management page....which there's an import button that'll let you link your other characters to that account).

If this is the case that they're 2 separate accounts, nothing will be able to be done. You'd have to keep signing out and signing back in (you don't need to uninstall, top right corner by the account name is a dropdown, log out link in it). Can I turn in a paper without citing all sources?

Many thanks for your reply. I suspected I had done something terribly wrong but I will give your suggestion a try. I will be happy signing out and back in again as long as I dont have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling Jagex launcher.

I am a member with an osrs character and a rs3 character with the same names. On a new Mac laptop, I tried to download osrs and was prompted to download the jagex launcher which I did. They I was prompted to import the 2 characters. But, only the rs3 character showed up to import. When I try to log into osrs with the old launcher, it does not accept my pw, and I am not able to reset my pw (because it says I can only log into Jagex), so I am stuck without access to the osrs character. Any ideas how I can get back into my osrs account? Mark

Do you have 1 account that you use for both RS3 and OSRS, or 2 accounts, one for each game? I would assume 1 given the character you're posting with has progressed profiles on both games.

If its 1 account that you use for both games, on the Launcher, you'd select OldSchool in the top left, and then hit play to launch the OSRS client.

Then to play RS3 again, you'd switch back using the same method, and then launch the client from there. Can I turn in a paper without citing all sources?

For future reference, it is always better to start your own thread for an issue rather than post on someone else's old thread.

If you have imported your Runescape account into a Jagex Account, then from now on you need to use the Jagex launcher to log in to the Official OSRS client or Runelite on a desktop machine. You can find the download page for the Jagex Launcher here:

The Launcher has tabs, top left, for selecting between RS3 and OSRS.

Something to be aware of, on a Mac, you need macOS version 10.13 or newer to run the Jagex Launcher. Glad to be of service :) (Powered by GPP™ - Share and Enjoy!)
