Hello,
For a long while now, the rs2 client has been randomly crashing on my PC. It would crash on both the Steam Client and the NXT Client. I've tried many solutions (clearing out cache, flushing DNS cache, restarting computer, updating drivers, redownloading drivers, switching between studio/game ready drivers, running the client in different compatibility modes, updating windows 10, changing settings in Nvidia control panel, removing bloatware from my PC, uninstalling the RS client from my PC and then doing a fresh install, etc) but nothing seems to permanently fix the problem. At worst the game instantly closes itself out, at best I'll get a couple hours game time before the problem returns. Every time it happens, Windows Event Viewer reports the issue as such:
The description for Event ID 1 from source NVIDIA OpenGL Driver cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
The following information was included with the event:
Unable to recover from a kernel exception. The application must close.
Error code: 3 (subcode 7)
(pid=2232 tid=8840 rs2client.exe 64bit)

Here are my specs:
OS: Windows 10 Pro Version 10.0.19045
System Type: x64
Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor, 3600 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version: American Megatrends International, LLC. 1.C0, 5/18/2021
Motherboard: MPG X570 GAMING PRO CARBON WIFI (MS-7B93)
RAM: 32GB DDR4
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER
I've tried solutions from Nvidia's end but I can't seem to find one that permanently works. It's also worth noting that it's not an issue with the RS client itself because it plays fine on my objectively spec-wise inferior laptop.
Any help in this is appreciated!
