Runescape could not be started

I have installed Jagex launcher and pointed to a newly created folder D:\Runescape

When I click on 'Play' on Jagex Launcher, I get the following message.

Unfortunately RuneScape could not be started.
Please try uninstalling the game and re-install using the button in the Jagex Launcher.

If this problem continues, contact Jagex support.
The launcher tried to run the game from:
C:\Program Files\Jagex\Runescape Launcher\


Tried multiple times to uninstall the jagex launcher, but still getting the same error

Hello,

You can in-fact play RuneScape from a non C:/ drive, make sure you delete the old RuneScape installation completely before you install to your D: folder. Ensure all those files are completely. I play RuneScape from a D:/ drive as well
