I've had it happen multiple times.

Client Crashed out of nowhere... And closes the client ( RS3 Official Client ) * No error Messages*

Super annoying the client hangs out of nowhere and then closes...

My Video Card and PC are constantly updated!


When does this happen?

*Happens Randomly*

Can I recreate the issue?

*No. It just happens randomly*

Glad I'm not the only one. Last time it happened to me, I peeked into the Windows error logs and the error logged by the system referenced the graphics driver .dll. Insert obligatory "it only happens with RS3, not any other more graphically intensive games/applications".

That aside, Community Led Technical Support is the best place for a thread like this, and you'll want to include some system specs - Operating System, graphics type and driver version, etc. You can also send a Bug Report and the game will send all relevant data and your comments to the developers.

Personally, I've been considering rolling back my drivers to the last version I had no issues with and seeing if that would help buuut I haven't taken those steps yet.

Tuffty.. I would have stated it in forum if my PC was restarting from the client crash

:) no disrespect or attitude :)

But no it doesn't restart my PC it's just inconvenient when I try to play the game and it happens.. :(

ive been having this issue since i came back a few weeks ago, i run osrs just fine. it keeps telling me my graphics card is outdated though its fully updated. i usually only get 30 seconds in game before the game crashes and if i try to walk to a new area its instant. got a good minute and half while fishing leveling up caused a lag spike but no crash. seen a forum mod talking about how his rs3 client works but his osrs client has the crashing issue on another post last week. seems like its always one or the other never both

Same thing been happening to me for the past 2 weeks on both my new s22 and s7 fe tablet. I keep the game updated on both devices. Happened about 10 times in a 30 min period. Absolutely annoying. Doesn't happen on my laptop tho.
