Jagex launcher update loop

Hi Im using macOS ventura, when I try to use the launcher it says update available and I click update and restart, it downloads the update and installs then closes and returns to the update available page again. Have tried the advice on the launcher issues page but nothing is working. Any advice?

I have started macOS Ventura and run said update and waited until Launcher itself did restart and everything works.

Were all your game sessions logged out?

That might help.
