Jagex Launcher Stopped working

My jagex launcher has completely stopped working, it wont open at all. I have reinstalled it, I have cleared the game cache, I have checked my java version is up to date. I have followed everything that they suggest on the official site to troubleshoot the launcher but nothing works.

It all worked fine about a week ago. and nothing changed my end.

This is very annoying because I think you cant login with the standard login once you swap over so now i cant play at all.

any suggestions welcome Life Before death, Strength before weakness, Journey before destination.

What operating system do you have....

There is a known issue recently for macOS for anyone below 10.13, where it's doing literally just that. But idk what you're on to know if its this issue or not.

Side note fyi - the launcher doesn't use java to function, so its not necessary to have for it to load. Can I turn in a paper without citing all sources?

Some of the chromium dependencies they use to build the launcher dropped support for macOS under 10.13, rendering older versions unable to work. So for older devices, there's unfortunately no fix beyond updating software....if one is able to.

The minimum specifications have been updated to reflect this new OS Requirement. Can I turn in a paper without citing all sources?
