So I've recently discovered that there isn't supposed to be a delay between the yellow circle indicating where your character is destined to walk and the actual animation of your character walking towards it. I've had a 1-2 second delay the entire time I have been playing RuneScape, and I've been off and on this game for about 12 years. The only reason I found out that this wasn't a feature of the game was because I noticed prayer swapping/flicking was extremely difficult to do. There is a massive delay with that as well as the walking animation.
I've checked dozens of troubleshooting websites and nothing works. I've messed with a ton of graphic settings (yes, including VSync) and nothing fixes it or even diminishes it slightly.
I have 50 ping and an ethernet connection.
It also might be good to note that RuneScape takes 1400-1700 MB of memory for me as shown on the task manager. My friend showed me him getting only 680. I thought maybe that was the issue, and maybe it is, but I don't know how to lower that number. I have other games that run that high and I never have an issue with delays or lag.
Putting this in a new paragraph so people see it:
I do not have this issue with any other game. It is only RuneScape.
My computer specs:
11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11700F @ 2.50GHz (16 CPUs), ~2.5GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER
God speed, friends, I hope we can figure this one out because I kind of want to start bossing.
Thanks.
