Hello all,
I have been having issues with the jittering and brief fps drops/hitching whilst playing Runescape. Due to an issue I have regarding eye strain, unstable or jittery fps causes me to get headaches - on top of being super annoying. I am running an RTX 2080 and an i9-9900k with 32gb ram.
I have tried the following:
- Raising and lowering graphics, toggling on and off all potential graphics options either by tickbox or dropdown menu.
- Flushing DNS cache, resetting router, upgrading router, changing ethernet cables, etc.
- Multiple drivers for my GPU.
- Steam version and the normal launcher.
- Limiting it to only use 1 or 2 CPUs via Process Lasso.
- Compatibility mode.
As well as myriad other small things regarding changing certain settings on my pc or nvidia control panel, as well as things in-game.
It is getting to the point that I'm just going to cancel my membership and play something else if I can't find a fix.
Any help would be appreciated - though do be advised that I will ignore any comments that just rehash the stuff already over the internet.
