As title states, I am experiencing 100% utilization on my i9 12900k after 5 or so minutes of gameplay and then RS freezes and I can only end the process in task manager. This has only really become an issue after switching to Jagex launcher/account. I have scoured the forums looking for a solution and nothing has worked quite yet.
My system contains the following if it helps:
CPU: 12900k
Ram: 32gb DDR5 6000mhz CL36
Mobo: Z690 Aorus Elite
Storage: 2TB Samsung 980 Pro
GPU: 6700xt (Was seeing some other forum posts talking about issues between AMD drivers and Jagex?)
I have suffered in silence while trying to find a solution but am getting extremely fed up to the point I have considered cancelling my 2 premier memberships and moving on. (Been spending a lot of time on Baldur's Gate 3 anyways). Just feel that may be a tad drastic, it is just ridiculous that I am having such an issue given my components. Kind of at wit's end if you couldn't tell so any help would be greatly appreciated! More than willing to provide more info if needed! Thanks all!
