Bad session id

I try to log in to OSRS using the Steam client, but each time I try I get an error message saying,
"Unable to connect. Bad session id."

I've tried to end sessions through the account settings (browser), but that didn't help.
Playing OSRS on my mobile phone works just fine.

Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks in advance.

Same problem - started today.

*tried to unlink/link steam to the account, but it does not work.

*Runelite is working fine.

Turns out to have been an issue with the game and has since been resolved.
