Hi. A few days ago I made a thread discussing my account receiving a warning in my message center about being involved with RWT activity. I came to the conclusion that it was from a GP swap that I made between games from RS3 to OSRS. From the helpful responses I received on my previous thread, the assumption was the GP I received was RWTed by my trader. I even contacted the trusted swapping service I used, but they told me that they have never received any kind of complaint on accounts being banned.

I also tried thinking of any kind of possible scenarios as to what else could have triggered this warning. How long can a trigger date back to? Back around 2010-2011, my account was hacked for about a month before I successfully recovered it. Could the hacker have made a RWT using my account? Maybe, but as to it being 12+ years ago I just assume not.

So with the conclusion my trigger was from a GP swap, what’s next? What steps do I take in ensuring that my account doesn’t repeat this? The obvious answer that I know is that I don’t partake in any kind of trade activity with anyone(strictly GE only now). What else is there I can do now?

Next, what happens to accounts if a trigger happens again AFTER they have already been warned? Do accounts get instantly permanent banned? Do they get suspended and have their gold removed? I’ve read reports of both but couldn’t come to a clear conclusion.

This account is 15 years old with a maxed OSRS account that has so much hours logged I can’t afford to lose. It’s been discouraging to even play the past days because I’m scared I might get hit with another false trigger. It’s a depressing thought especially when I can’t receive official support on the case or get this warning removed.

Thanks for reading.
