Helloo good morning or evening this is reguarding my MAIN Account -Kingofherbs i couldn't post off him on the forums because i just received a false bann on him which also seems unfair that you cant make a ticket on that butt , to whoever reads this message i never really had to use this section on the forums before lol but i figured now is the time to because this account is basically my life in a way and i invested so much time into it and yeah i recently came back from a break and i been at it for about 2months now maybe with my skills grinding my herblore fletching crafting and now at this point i was working on some wintertodt games like alot and i run an active small clan chat so yeah im just trying to say im very active and there is no way i am botting but yeah i tried logging in yesterday morning and i got a message basicly saying i was using a third party software? I just found it crazy because at first i was like oh no did i get muted for talking smack at wintertodt but it ended up being something way different and i just want to say this accusation is false you can check if its possible that i only use the vanilla clients and if you guys check my ip adresses i only play from Home,Alot at work lol and mobile ofcourse i love this game and i wouldnt ever risk my account and at first i thought maybe it was because i was putting to much xp in ?but then i compared to my other friends in my clan chat to their play time and i was like yeah that wasnt the issue because they input alot more then i have some say people are targetting my name but yeah its sad the community comes to that point but this is a false bann and i legit cried lmao and it hope it really gets relooked cause i could imagine how many others players are gone because of this and its a sad thing to start over i even made an account to try and find ingame support and thats another problem anyways be blessed I AM HERE BECAUSE MY APPEAL IS GETTING NO ATTENTION

Well yes i understand the third party client and what the guidelines are and that is why ive never wanted to bother with a client at all till this day ive never used runelite only the vanilla runescape client just because i worried about my account being hacked or anything like that and yes i did sumbit an appeal on the situation and its still pending and my ban is up in one more day but i just want to figure this situation out but this is just horrible. I have a question though because this is the one thing in my mind ..***so i been playing alot of wintertodt and in that minigame when you are burning logs on the fire youre character gets interrupted randomly with a message in your chatt box saying the cold of wintertodt seeps into your skin so at some point that message is flooded in your chatbox and you cant differentiate if its a new message or not so i randomly would hit the spacebar and enter to put a blank message in the chat to filter out the intteruption text from the boss, do you think this could be a problem?????? You are the only help ive gotten so far thank you

Players whom ‘claim that vanilla clients are approved by Jagex’ should scratch their head and come forward and point out where Jagex/JMods are officially stating that these clients are still approved.
Where’s said evidence of Jagex/JMods saying so?

I’ll give you an example of Jagex/JMods warning The RuneScape Community about other clients, which also includes ‘vanilla clients’ as being ‘Java driven clients’.

Linux native clients

It's best to play through the official Linux Client to avoid browser-related problems or to bypass limitations that the Java Plugin might have.


If a Java Plugin gives you an unfair advantage you are basically screwed.

Please be aware all 3rd party modified clients are used at your own risk. We always recommend using the official game clients offered by Jagex.


Jagex offers The RuneScape Community their ‘
Official RuneScape Game Clients
’ therefore any other client players are using are ‘3rd party clients’ which may risk you getting banned if you use them in a way it is breaking the ‘

tron i am so lost right now the only client i use is the one on the runescape website not the runelite one though but the old school client without any plugins that is what im reffering to as vanilla is this not approved by jagex???? i downloaded it on the main page..please help me out i know im not doing anything wrong

Before doing so, do delete older game clients from your computer first, and/or delete any plugins as you won't need any, Jagex's game clients have everything included.

That’s cool you could send a pic like that and I am going to try and delete the game client I have and redownloading it I promise this is what I’ve been using for the longest I don’t understand if it’s outdated or something shouldn’t it force me to redownload it or am I supposed to guess ? I been looking through the forums and I’m finding so many similar problems with people claiming to be on the og client and getting banned but thank you for replying back quickly man and also last question for now .. should I be launching osrs off the jagex launcher ???
