Logged in at 8am yesterday to find out my character got taken to ferox and my bank got wiped clean by an account hijacker while i was sleeping. This is no normal occurance, although from what i've been seeing the past week it is almost becoming
normal
. Like the handful of people i've seen post about this, i have proper account security i.e 2fa, bank pin, secure email etc.
I have virus scanned my both my PC and my phone and both came back clean. I have no unauthorized logins on my email or recovery email for that email. Nothing out of the ordinary after all of the digging i have done with my emails so far. I am not linked to steam. There should be no possible way somebody could have gotten access to my account, bank pin or 2fa. That makes this seem like a much bigger issue that the normal hijacking scenarios.
Please, if a JMod sees this, can you look into my account activity between the dates of March 7 @9pm to March 8th at 8am CST. Might be able to get a better idea of the time if you can see when a bank pin change/removal request was placed. And, if possible, please let me know what i need to do to further secure my account. I've already changed passwords on everything after running the virus scans.
