Black arm gang heros quest Thread is locked

I didnt realise until i got up to the point when you have to wear the black armour that only the black arm gang side of this quest requires defence as i am trying to complete this on a 1 defence account have i just screwed my chances of doing it or is there a way to switch or anything?

I have tried every which way i can think of completing it solo it or switch gangs i believe i may be too far into the quest at this point but thank you for your reply you wouldn't happen to know anything about what items get reset when you reset your defence?

Check out the RS Wiki page on Defence resets (link below). This page provides a detailed list of items and quests that are removed or reset with a Defence stat reset.
