Jagex Launcher not installing

After having used Jagex Launcher since it was released I've had to reset my PC. I downloaded the launcher and entered all my log in details and ended up with a blue INSTALL button. I clicked the Download & install button and after installing 7% i got an error message "The launcher has experienced an error and needs to close - Process returned unknown error code"

I've uninstalled and reinstalled - even turned Norton off (though I've never had a problem before) No luck

I think the latest Jagex Launcher may be corrupted as I found my original download from March 2022 and it's worked.

where did you find the older version I'm still having the same issue now
