So, basically I believe my account has been hijacked and had its login username/email changed by linking it with a jagex account (my account was not upgraded to a jagex account). I've tried all the user recovery stuff but since the email has been changed I get nothing. Also tried password recovery and my username doesn't exist anymore. I have all the security on my email etc and there is nothing suss in the recent activity logs. My acc also had auth on it so they must have bypassed that as well. Not sure what action to take here. If anyone could help I'd be grateful.
Your old RuneScape login details will become invalid, instead, you'll use your new Jagex email and password for all of your imported characters (so don't forget it!)
You need to start by checking that your login has indeed been invalidated.
Your login will be an email, unless the account is very old.
Are you certain you are trying the correct login?
Account is very old, so it uses a old username. I'm 100% putting in the correct username. Even when trying to recover the password it says it doesn't exist. Then when I try to get the new username emailed to me it doesn't work because I believe the email has been changed. No idea how though because my email has not been compromised.
If an upgrade into a Jagex Account has occurred without your knowledge, the hijacker would have set a new email login and contact email.
To message Jagex about this, use the 'Contact Us' button on the
Forgotten login
support page.
You need to say on that message form that you believe the account has been upgraded into a Jagex account by a hijacker.
I am going to say here that if your account has been upgraded into a JA and the login changed then
your email is compromised
. It has to be. The upgrade could not have been done otherwise as the person upgrading needs full management control.
Change the password to your email and check for unauthorised logins to it.

support page as your hijacker might have fiddled with your email settings to block Jagex emails.
I have changed my emails password and checked the recent logins, only I have logged into the email according to the logs so I have no idea. Thank you for your help though, I will message jagex from the link you have sent me.
