Hi, recently I have been hacked and lost all my wealth on my account. I had just come back from playing in maybe 2019? And the person did it without changing my password, changing my bank PIN and adding an authenticator to my account (2 account). I've since then created and changed all the security provided by Jagex (Jagex account didn't exist last time I played).
I am not writing this to get my wealth back, as I know Jagex doesn't do that. But it did make me think that my accounts as old as they are are probably on some hacker list with known password etc. and info, because I was never really serious with the not-easy-to-guess security. This brings me to a query I have for the Mod if possible: In 2018 my very first main got banned for RWT, just after Christmas I believe. At the time, after only playing again for maybe 2 months, I did an half-assed effort of getting it back but simply got tired of losing my account and getting banned.
Knowing the ease someone had to just enter my account and empty it out, would it be possible for someone to review my first main and maybe get a resolution? I do not have much hope as it's been 5 years and flagged as RWT but yeah. Name was changed by hacker for BloodSpray.

Also, if a friend wants to give me items or gold to get back from being hacked, is it possible for it to be flagged RWT? (a friend would like to help me now, but we are both worried about being flagged as he's not on this account friend list).

Hello, Evening Moon.

RWT bans may not be appealed and those accounts are never returned to the game, per the Appeal an offence Support article. If there is an option to appeal, it will be shown under your specific account's settings. If there isn't one, then the ban will remain.

As for your other concern, I always like to quote Malua's post when it comes to these topics:
Original message details are unavailable.
An account that receives RWT'ed gp is strongly at risk of being warned or banned for Real World Trading.

Real World Trading activity is thoroughly investigated before any punishment is applied.
The banned host will have been confirmed as real world trading despite their denial.

The way Jagex handles RWT offences has changed recently.
Previously any account that received the benefit of a RWT would have been banned without any chance of appeal.

Accepting gifts or giveaways of gp is very risky .
Furthermore, you may read this: Macroing & RWT bans [Info] .

Oh also, if my friend gives me money and its his with no link to RWT or anything of the kind, I should be fine if he's been in my friend list? I am not sure what triggers and I do not want to know, but it may seems like out of nowhere as he stopped playing, which is why he would be giving to me.

There is no way for you to be 100% that the money you are receiving from anyone is safe. Whenever you accept anything from another player, you are doing so at your own risk.

Edit: I found this post from Malua:

Your audience in here is other players not Jagex Mods.

Gold Swapping is not against the rules, however the one thing you cannot ever know is the source of the gold you are getting for your swap.
It is risky because, if you inadvertently swap with a RWT'er you are effectively buying RWT gp.

Your account received a warning because Jagex assume you were a victim of RWT rather than a perpetrator.
There is no truly safe way to swap gold between the games.
