Raising attention to a scamming ring in hopes of an expeditious action. The actions below have been reported by numerous players in-game, but doing my best to raise awareness here as there has not been any resolve and I've continued to observe numerous players fall victim.
There is a current scamming ring where one individual will sit at the GE in a members world and ask for help from anyone with a greater than ~250m item wielded. That person will then bring unsuspecting players to their "boss". The "boss" will first attempt to lure players to Windertodt and then a PVP, trading full gilded and attempting the traditional pharaoh sceptre scam. However, for witty victims they will then redirect the player to the bank in Al Kharid near the desert and again to a PVP world. The bank only has 3 tiles that are 'safe'; directly in front, and the 2 tiles to the center tile's immediate left / right. The "boss" player will again attempt to trade showing the same gilded armor and pharaoh sceptre, declining the trade, and then re-trade the victim. At the exact moment of the re-trade the "boss" will then move to a tile which forces the victim outside of the 3 'safe' tiles, where upon a PKer with ancients will complete the scam.
