I hope I am posting this in the correct section, I had two bans present on an old account that were both on the exact same day for the same reason. I appealed both and one was already granted(I was aware of the ban and took full responsibility ) but this isn’t a plea to get help unbanning it. My question is more so for the one that was granted, wouldn’t this automatically clear both since they are duplicate bans on the same day for the same thing with the same description? Also the accepted appeal says granted in the comment. Any help would be wonderful to understand this more

However, if both bans are on the same day for the same offence type, it is worth getting the account rechecked.

Sorry to piggyback on this post, but according to Jagex policy, appeals are one time and final. So submitting to getting an account rechecked seems to be counter to the policy? May I ask why it depends whether a player gets lucky for you to to forward the RSN to get an account rechecked.

Not trying to be rude, just a general question, and its true for the anti-cheat team on Reddit/Twitter as well where they have unbanned players with a denied appeal if they luckily get that review.

Just seems unfair for players to not receive the same level of support in these cases and more of a lottery system whether get noticed/anything done about.

First and foremost, thank you for the timely reply- The bans are both for the same reason and on the same date with the same description- Again 1 of them has been successfully appealed and the other is currently "appeal pending" but having a 2nd pair of eyes look and recheck it for accuracy or maybe to just make sure I am doing the process correctly would be great- the name that shows up on the jagex launched since the name is not active is [#0Q2V5HGQZ].

As for piggybacking - please do. I know that playing this game and having a lack of communication can sometimes be unbearable and the forums have always be a safe place to find the right information. Especially with how helpful the community led sections are. I believe in scenarios where the bans are identical (date/reason for ban etc.) can be useful to check and see if this can be something to potentially check and expediate considering one has been completed. I am not 100% sure by any means this is more subjective in my situation and the community mods and jagex staff would be better suited to answer it for sure. But yeah no special treatment needed I am happy to wait in the queue for it to be revied as necessary.

If the appeal is still pending, then you should wait for a reply.
I assumed the other appeal had been denied.
I cannot forward the account for you if the appeal is still pending.
It can take up to seven days to process a ban appeal.

@ IWantACookie,
If both offences are dated the same day, it is possible it is the same offence, just getting detected over and over again.

If appealed the appeal results should both be the same, either both accepted or both denied.
The recheck is done if one appeal is accepted and the other appeal denied. The two results should not be different.

Hey Malua, so that previous account I was mentioning in my post finally had its 2nd (duplicate ban) appeal denied but again it’s the same ban same description with the same date
. 1 granted and 1 denied- I would love to see if a Jmod could review this for error.

window of opportunity
' where one account remains locked and the other freed-up so you might proven to Jagex/JMods the opposite.
Since you have a claim about inaccuracy you might prove that to them.
