My account is glitch/locked?

Ive recently come back to runscape and i logged into my account just fine. I tried to log in today and it was locked due to suspicious activity. So i go through the unlock process and it said it was recoverd and the password is now changed. When i go to log in with the new password it says invalid credentials. Then i check the email again and i noticed it didnt say my name (dbowcouplen) its says this


PASSWORD RESET
COMPLETED

Character Name Unavailable, you have successfully reset your password for your Jagex account.

You can now use your new password to log in to RuneScape or Old School RuneScape.


I have tried to unlock it again just incased it bugged our something but it wouldent even let me do that. I really dont know what to do is my account just gone?

i forgot to say when i put the old password in because i never forgot my password it logs in and says account still locked

not logging into the game itll log in and say account is locked. what your not understanding is that i unlocked the account and got the email confirmation after i got the confirmation i try to log in with the new password that it made me do i never forgot my password at all but because my account is locked its forcing me to change it. it dosent work even tho i got the confirmation email the pass to the account never changed on top of that account still seems to be locked never got unlocked so why did i get this email and why did yall make me go through the process? our is this a glitch in the system?

what your not understanding is that i unlocked the account and got the email confirmation after i got the confirmation i try to log in with the new password.........it dosent work even tho i got the confirmation email What I am telling you is you entered the wrong login when you did that password reset.
You reset the password on another account, not the account you thought.
The account you want is still locked because you haven't yet reset the password on it.

You need to try again and enter the login correctly.
You must know the login because you are using it to attempt logging in to the game and then being told the account is locked.
