I'm obviously no J-Mod, but I'd like to help shed a little light on the matter.

If you've already made the appeal and gotten a response regarding the judgement of such, the decision is, unfortunately, final. However, if you're in the midst of submitting your appeal, then the best news that I have is that each appeal is investigated thoroughly as losing an account is a serious matter. Rest assured that all activity logs associated with the account will be reviewed as well as the locations of associated activity.

While awaiting judgement on the appeal, I personally would ensure that your new account is as secure as possible and that you maintain access to any external information used for the recovery of your account.
