Unable to recover account

After linking my accounts to a Jagex account, this account has been locked due to suspicious activity.

Clicking on recover account keeps telling my that the server is not reachable and to try later. I got through once and all it did was ask me to change my password, which I did. When I click manage account it takes me through to OSRS website and on account status it just says there are no offences.

Any advice how I can unlock the account? Been trying for about an hour now.

So changed password 4 times now as that is what it asks for when I click recover account from trying to log in to the game through Jagex launcher.

Since changing my password, I can't access the forums on that account anymore.

Can someone please let me know how I am supposed to recover my account?

This issue was occurring to quite a few players at the time this thread was created but it is resolved now.

Terra Vitae: Do you have a 'Jagex Account'? If so, try logging out, closing down and switching your computer off and then switching back on and starting up again. If your accounts are not upgraded into a Jagex Account, your issue is not the same as the OPs and you should create your own separate thread.
