Help please.

Loaned my buddy 100m to do some chambers (he needed a sang and some runes). Jagex banned him for 3 days and removed the wealth from his account. I’ve seen the screenshots and we’ve lent each other a lot more before so I know it isn’t a scam.

I love this game. I’m extremely frustrated by the customer support team and the decisions made affecting people who have invested HOURS into their accounts. I’m just now getting back into the game after the swings of life but I’ve been screwed over before with no recourse. I’m hoping that isn’t the case here either.

How can I prove that this was in fact a loan to a friend that I’ve been playing with for years? We regularly trade gear and go back and forth with no problems. Now it’s a holiday and I have the day off and want to raid with my friend and can’t. Plus I’ve lost 100m that spent a lot of time to accumulate.

If and when Jagex/JMods have put a penalty to an account because of RWT than such penalty is given after a lengthy and thorough investigation/research about where said wealth came from and where it goes to and how it is closely tight to RWT.

You always have to check yourself if gained wealth you are receiving or giving away is obtained legit without breaking the '
Rules of RuneScape
' and/or '
Terms & Conditions
'.
These personal checks are very important and if you doubt ... do not trade.

Hi there
Ganj Dre

The forums are player run. We rarely see a JMod post.

You are implying that the trade was flagged because of its high value rather than because of the source of the gp.

Noone in here can answer to that and a JMod will not respond.

"How can I prove that this was in fact a loan to a friend that I’ve been playing with for years?"

Whether or not it was a loan to a friend is irrelevant in an investigation.
Jagex check the fact of what happened. They can't check intentions.

Because RWT offences cannot be appealed, I am very sorry but there really is no action you or your friend can take to change what has happened.

I wanted to add to what everyone has said.

There is a friend i play rs3 with.. he lives across the ocean

occasionally he needs gp so i give him my green hween. when he gets the money back he buys me a green hween back.

I have loaned him this green hween many many times. and he has given it back just as many and neither of us has had an issue with a RWT ban or a RWT temp ban.

Knowing this, I am sure Jagex can figure out what is RWT and what isnt.
The richest person is not who has the most. It is who Needs the least.

Thanks but that was absolutely 0 help. Still looking for help from a mod or someone with some kind of authority.

Thank you.
Jagex/JMods conducted an investigation on your friends account and found evidence that put your friends account in the world of RWT.
Because of his account history they gave him a '
warning-ban
' of 3 days and removed wealth from his account that was/is involved in RWT.

You can warn your friend to stop what he is doing to not break any rules whatsoever, in the future, and everything will cease to exist, in terms of breaking the rules when he stops breaking them. '
It is a clear warning
' ... also to you and your account.

Disregard this warning and you both may fear consequences applied to your accounts.
