First off - I've not opened the emails - BUT - I've been receiving a number of fraudulent emails from 'Runescape' (they don't even bother using Jagex).

Dang, how is the scammer even getting my 'other' email addresses? They're not even using the email I have tied to my account?

Also - is this something I should be reporting to Jagex?

I have a bank pin. I have set a new PW.

Besides not opening the email - do you have any more suggestions?

Hi there
Solchi
,

It sounds like you may have clicked on a suspicious link that has somehow allowed a third-party to learn of one of your email addresses (it is unclear in your text if this is the registered email address to your account). The first thing I advise you to do is run a malware scan on your computer. This is essential, as the method of collection of your information may be through an unauthorised third-party software living on your computer. Do note that it is always important to change your account details AFTER you have scanned your computer, as changing emails and passwords beforehand may still potentially give access to the hijacker of your account.

Once you have scanned your computer and are sure that there is nothing compromising the integrity of this security, then you should create a new registered email address, and change your registered email address to this new account (especially if the malicious party is aware of your registered email address). You can do so by following the Change registered email Support page. And once you are happy with this, change your password and set two-factor authentication accordingly.

You can find more information on how to secure your device and account on the Security tips Support page.

Furthermore, you can read the Phishing Support page on how to report suspicious emails and reporting scams.

Hope this helps.

Hi there
Solchi

If the emails are arriving on the wrong email address, it means that email has ended up on a phishers mailing list and the phisher has no real idea about your RuneScape account. They are just casting a wide net.
You can check your emails on the https://haveibeenpwned.com/ website to see if they have been leaked at some point.

I wouldn't worry about them.
Only start to worry if the emails start arriving on the correct email address.
The 'Security Tips' support page that Muzan-sama linked is worth working through, just to check you have everything properly secured.
