I was able to recover a old alt account and its saying I need to validate the email, how do I go about doing that? And its saying username is unavailable?
Validating the email is done from account management, in the ‘Email & Communications Preferences’ tab.
Username is unavailable just means the old display name has been removed due to inactivity. You now need to select a new display name at first game login.
As removed display names get put back into the name pool it might or might not be available to select again. It may have been taken by another player.
