So its been about 4-6 month range now that my account got locked (due to suspicion of it being hacked or stolen) which was actually me appealing a ban i got for being dumb....... just a minor not a perm ban

I have tried unlocking the account countless times and im not sure why it locked in the first place let alone removed my security email i made.

when i first made the account i wasnt taking the game seriously and just used a random email generator for the account name which isnt a real email

when i decided to take it seriously i added my real email to it which later on got removed by jagex

i have tried and failed to get past the automated system in place when you go through the procedure of unlocking the account and friends have said im screwed because it automatically rejects any accounts that have never added their payment information. Me being skeptical always would just buy bonds with gp from my other account while i was afking on this one.

so because of that ive never actually bought a bond or membership via credit paypal mobile etc always gp.

What do i do? i got over 400m on the account as well and a ton of time invested into it and i thought eventually i could get into it but im about to give up and let jagex win and come to the realization that at any moment they can steal your account from you under suspicion...

Yes im adding the creaation date location internet provider etc... including creation password as ive only changed the pass maybe 3 times if that

Hi there
Im Garfaran
,

Jagex does not remove registered email addresses. The only way to change your registered email address is through you, however you cannot leave this blank, it must be replaced with another email address. Are you sure you do not have access to the registered email address that you changed it to following the automated one that was first in place? This will save a lot of time for you if it is still registered in this address. Otherwise, is there any possibility of you remembering what you may have changed it to from there?

How quickly is your account recovery denial coming through? If it is within the first 5 minutes of making your recovery request, then this means that you are not passing through the automated system that checks information that is fundamental to your account, such as old passwords. You must ensure that the information you provide is accurate to each character, as otherwise you will not be able to bypass this.

If it took longer than an hour, then it has likely made it past the automated filter which is in place to ensure users submitting fraudulent recovery attempts are not manually checked. This means that you have provided good information, but just need to include slightly more to make your evidence substantial. Information you should provide is:

- All previously and currently registered email addresses.
- As many passwords as you can remember (the earlier the better).
- Your ISP, location of account creation, and date of account creation.
- Transaction history (if any at all).
- Any other relevant information.

I understand that you have not made any transactions on your account, and so cannot provide information on this. If this is the case, you can state this in your evidence that no transactions have been made.

Hi there

If you never bought membership, the recovery form shouldn't be asking for payment history.
However, if you redeemed a Bond for membership, it means you added membership without paying and this can confuse the recovery system. It can ask for payment history and then not give you the drop down selection to say you used a Bond.
You have to mention using a Bond for membership in 'Other Comments'.

It sounds to me like your account WAS hijacked. You appealing a ban will not lock the account BUT Jagex will lock the account after checking your appeal and seeing that a hijacker was active at the time of the offence.
They lock the account when they can see the account is still insecure i.e. password known by the hijacker.

When Jagex lock the account, they remove the current password and, if they strongly suspect the hijacker has access to the registered email, they will remove the registered email from the account as well.
If they remove the current registered email, they usually set the creation registered email back onto the account.
You need to secure your email. Change its password right away and set up 2-step verification on it to stop unauthorised access.

Are you able to re-create that original, fake email? It might be worth a try as your RS account is probably linked to it again.
It you can't re-create the old email, you will need to persist with recovery.

Tell us how quickly the deny reply arrives back after you submit your recovery.
Take note of the reasons for the deny and try to improve your next attempt based on those reasons.
Try submitting a completely new email to be the new registered email. Jagex might be rejecting your existing email as being compromised.

i appreciate both the replies

what i meant by registered email address is the one you make when your adding security to your account so for example you use [email protected] then you want to add the secrity email which would be [email protected] the second one the recovery email is what they removed..

As for the membership yes i always redeemed membership via bonds and have stated it in the other comments section but the denial is pretty much instantly. All above information is correct the original password the date of creation the internet provider used etc...

problem is the bot automated denial process doesnt actually read the other comments which is where the actual jmod would determine if theres enough evidence that the account belongs to you. Thats where im stuck because ive been told it doesnt actually register that you only used bonds without payment information and without that information the bot has denied me over 50+ times

frankly idk how to even reach jagex support and i think the entire support system and lack of communication from the everyday player and the staff is very lack luster unless your a content creator your kind of screwed

Hey, Im Garfaran.
Original message details are unavailable.

If you do not successfully pass the automated part of the account recovery process, then a Jagex Moderator will not and cannot read the "Other Comments", which is done in the second step. If you are being denied instantly, then it means that most, if not all, of the details that you are entering at either completely incorrect or missing. You need to work harder on that part.

Whenever an account recovery request is denied, you are sent an email with tips and suggestions on how to improve your chances on your next attempt. As Malua stated above, take note of that and keep trying. Furthermore, you are welcome to take a look at the Account recovery denied .

Remember: the earlier the information the better ;) .
