I'd say this update would definitely not only appeal to new players but also for starting iron men! I look forward to these kinds of updates.
For iron men mode, this staff is pretty rad, as it gives you built in spell costing chaos runes! It's a lowest- tier trident but doesn't require the grind. Even the newly added warped scepter was still tedious. But for bone staff? Very nice.
Would love to see a storage option for these weapons. Given they are only usable on the rat king not everyone will have bank space or access to a bank in order to make use of them!
I would LOVE this, I don't like afking combat all too much at crabs etc. and I still have to learn the mechanics and the way you seem to be tackling this sounds VERY enticing to me.
Looking forward to this, i'm a mid ironman who hasn't really attempted bossing so I like the idea I can ease myself into it before having to dive into late game
Saw someone else in the thread ask about weapon storage, maybe having a pile of rat spines or something to that effect that you could store the bone weapons (and excess rat spines??) within close proximity to where the boss would be located
The burning request I have though would be to PLEASE GIVE US A RAT PET, really like the design of the early concept and think that would look awesome as a pet
Aww great, a boss that will not affect the OSRS economy, how original.
So fun for mid-level players to have to struggle for easy gold. Yet, hey, at least we get exp to make it to the high-level money-makers. Great, lets learn some fighting mechanics and only get exp and no cash. Thanks. This boss will be a hit.
I'm a newish player and a boss that's both actually intrinsically fun to kill and offers good rewards sounds great to me.
It seems dumb that the only real way to make progress in combat in this game past level 50 is to go stand next to some crabs and leave my computer on for a couple days (which is what I ended up doing).
I play the game for fun and I like having active gameplay options so that I can actually play the game not just leave it running and watch a number go up.
if this boss also has the same high amount of frames that makes it look comically smooth compared to the rest of the game, im gonna be real sad. muspah and all the DT2 bosses have upset me with how much theyre animated like RS3 enemies instead of OSRS enemies. stuff like hydra is like, perfect to me. i want more of that.
