100% this, vertical mode please! I would love to be able to play osrs while on my daily walks, being able to play 1 handed would be amazing. Unfortunately playing with 2 hands is very uncomfortable especially when going on a 5 mile walk, would love to play osrs instead of pokemon go

I understand this may be challenging but definitely a good quality of life improvement.

As a mobile only player, I am very impressed and exited about this. The only thing that worries me after playing the beta for a short time is having the prayer and spellbook opening on the right side, my right thumb will be in charge of everything
even with the hotkeys, relearning muscle memory will be extremely painful… one way to combat this would be that the hotkeys open on the left side. E.G instead of tapping the prayer book hotkey and it opening on the right side, it would open on the left. If you open it from the right side then it will still open from right in that scenario. This would eliminate the stated issue and also declutter the screen more, if I am switching gear/prayer or casting a spell in the new mobile UI I cannot click anywhere on the right side of the screen now, it was better being able to alternate between screens in the left and right as and when I needed to but with the new ui I would have to close the interface after every time I swapped gear prayers or cast a spell incase I needed to tap on the right side of the screen when doing content like TOA or chambers. Please Please Please make it at least an option to still have the prayer and spellbook open on the left side, otherwise I will no longer be able to do the high level content that I love
I can’t stress enough how detrimental it is to have the prayer and spellbook open on the left. Everything else in the new ui is absolutely amazing and the work that’s been put into this is apparent. I hope this feedback will be taken into consideration as it’s a major worry I have had since this update was announced. Thank you for reading <3

I'm really impressed with the upcoming changes to the mobile UI in Old School RuneScape. Jagex's commitment to transparency, their response to player feedback, and the introduction of features like Hotkeys are significant steps in enhancing the mobile gaming experience. The detailed breakdown of these changes is much appreciated, and it's evident that they're focused on making the game more accessible and enjoyable for mobile players. I look forward to testing these improvements in the Beta and encourage the community to participate to help shape the future of the game.
