Ever since changing over, I've been getting "Malformed Login Packet" errors which kick me out of the game. My son also plays Runescape and hasn't gotten the error so I know it's not my home network. I've seen others complain about this error as well. Has it been determined if this error is related to Jagex accounts?
Thank you for the update on HDOS! One of my accounts got banned after a hijacking and I've since moved to using Jagex accounts. I didn't realize I couldn't use HDOS anymore til after and have been missing that client. Greatly anticipating HDOS support!
While the Jagex Launcher is not currently supported on Linux, there are some community projects that might help you play and we are reviewing how smoothly these workarounds function. Please head to our dedicated Linux article for more information.
You didn't actually answer the question. The question was
will
Linux get support. Can we at least get a reason why you refuse? I don't see a compelling reason to switch from a native open source client to an unsupported proprietary launcher for that native open source client.
It's definitely a good opportunity to update the Stronghold of Security to reflect the changing nature of account security!
Thanks for keeping the nostalgia for the stronghold too!

I think its worth contacting support to see if you can get further help on this. Perhaps even via the community led account forum.

Will there be official support for Linux?

I'd say it means that they're definitely not ruling it out and it's something they're perhaps doing their initial investigations on first.
Love the added security! Thank you for the added bank slots aswell. I dont see a reason why players would not switch. The added security and how easy it is to use simply is a huge benefit. I would love to see a lobby like rs3 for osrs though if that is something possible for the future.
Thank you again for the added security. I have been playing nearly 20 years and I am very fond of my account.

I am have issues using the new Jagex launcher. I have a MacBook Pro. I have been playing on RuneLite on this computer for almost a year. I have had no actual reported errors for anything I have downloaded. Everything seems to be working ok. I simply cannot log into my accounts on RuneLite because he redirects me back to to the launcher in order to log in. My issue is....I don't have a play button option. I is only giving me the "install button" I have installed and reinstalled both the RuneLite and The Jagex clients multiple times. Can I please get this account removed off of the new master account I linked all of my accounts too? Or can I get a solution. I have been trying to find a solution all over the internet and I have not come across a similar issue.
