PROS:
-Would love to see a new quest or two
-Skill updates much needed and sound perfect
-Quality of life sounds good (more auto casts specified to staves would be nice)
CONS:
-Dungeon raiding and bosses sound horrible
-The new skill, While important, needs to be on the back-burner for a couple months.
SUMMARY:
First and foremost i would like to thank the Jagex staff for keeping us updated on unanswered questions. The priority of maintenance in existing skills and the quality of life updates is much looked forward to and I feel very open to your thoughts. I've never been one to enjoy questing but i find myself getting barrows gloves a second time doing many of the same quests. Old school players should not be threatened by new quests offering esoteric gear and my opinion is that you should aim quests towards offering better and new skilling areas on your "continent"-(admittedly no knowledge of).
I am
VERY
unhappy seeing dungeon/boss raiding on this list. It feel as though you are trying to somehow connect us to a dungeoneering derivative and i am appalled at the thought. When dungeoneering first released i thought i would never engage in it but quickly became addicted. One of my biggest hangups of the EOC was the change in dungeoneering game play, item use, and mostly difficulty. It took the release of this game to prompt me to rejoin after the loss of what i believed to be the best part of this game. Do not ruin my memories with your watered down dungeons.
*Edit*
All this talk of soul wars needs to go away. Pest Control is already in the game and just needs to be reworked to not only attract more players but perhaps offer slayer xp and elite sets.
