All of the options are attractive, it would be nice to see some quest finales, such as Fairy Tale III introduced.
I fear, however, the the great mass of "we want more power to PK", and "give us better bonuses" lobby will win any poll - going by recent poll results.
I think we can forget any new skill unless it is an aid to combat, or at least offers something that doesn't offend the specialists and fighters, thus it is likely to be a nerfed skill - pointless to pursue.
And reading the comments, that covers most of them. I don't blame them for being vocal, that's the way Jagex have set it up, but with the obvious majority of players being solely PVM/PVP/PVB it leaves little hope for those who aren't.
Don't get me wrong; whilst I've never PK'd, I really enjoy Slayer and other combat, but I feel that the game is becoming less well rounded, and is heading, in spirit if not in game mech, on the slippery slope to RS3...
No more quests please. I've built my entire OSRS account around earning the quest cape with minimal combat skills, and I know of a fair number of other people who have done the same.
New achievement diaries sound nice.
Firemaking updates could be interesting as long as there are no overpowered "rewards" or methods of training that make firemaking significantly easier (such as bonfires). I saw someone here suggest a more rigorous addition of the Beacon activity to OSRS - I think this is a great idea.
More then anything I'd like to see more quality of life updates.
How about an update to Prayer. It would be nice to have a reason to have higher than 70 prayer. Slayer has gotten more love than is needed in this amount of time. That should be put on hold for now. Currently I have 99 prayer, simply for the sake of reaching max combat level. I would like to benefit from it, considering the amount of time or money the skill requires.
