Can we Reset Defence Xp for those who got Xp By accident before the update as I have 42 def xp I won't be able to have prestige and It's sad cause I got that 42 def xp like 8 years ago.

Also I feel bad for my friends who got 2 defence by accident even up to 5 they won't be in the hiscores can we do something about this?

The challenge in these kinds of things is finding clever ways to avoid the actions and if possible, evade the requirements that would lead to something that opposes the current reaction. Making it so that one physically unable to take an action that would break this restriction (as the newspost even lists as an example) would just nullify the challenge.

I played with self-imposed restrictions in other games where it didn't come with additional costs and although I probably won't pay for another account to experience it in OSRS, I still wouldn't like people around me who flash with their "lvl 1 woodcutting pure" while cutting doesn't even appear in their right click menu, especially not people who flex their "1 def pure" when (Xeric forbid) they can do controlled and def attack style, just don't get def xp for it.
It's a real rectricted account only if one _could_ take the unwanted action, just pays attention to never do it and when it _seems_ that it's required for something, finds another way (ring of recoil instead of attacking, etc.), also pays attention to check which attack is chosen after a server update or anything.


*Support* for restricted accounts is great, just make sure that it's _support_, not "freely given". Like that hi-scores addition is an example of a good idea.

Hope it passes this time!

Q: Can minigame total level requirements be looked at? Soul wars requires 500 total level, LMS requires 750. As an 807 acc the LMS requirements is hard to meet before endgame.

If not could you release numbers on the amount of bots the 750 requirement has stopped? It seems like the update has only punished real players.

Just wanted to offer a perspective from someone who really does want this update, or a modified version of it to be added, and why.

A lot of the changes made to OSRS have been badly implemented, and to this day devalue other ways of playing, like a certain boss or minigame whose rewards are so much better than most of the others, it feels like the only logical thing to pursue, even if its the less fun option. Having the ability to have an account lock that content away from you is a very appealing notion to me.

Yes, I can just ignore that content, but it even existing reduces my motivation to play what I consider more fun (or nostalgic) content, to the point where I rarely play the main game any more.

Think of all the people who have quit OSRS over the years because an update ruined the game for them; on their limited account they could see the new content auto-locked, and decide that if they didn't want to engage with it, it remains locked, and never devalues whatever ways they are already using to train or play the game.

Motivation works differently for different people, and I can entirely understand people finding my perspective and inability to just ignore the other content nonsensical, and I envy them. But, so long as it doesn't affect main accounts or the game for them in any way (which I believe can be done if JAGEX fix this pitch), it should be possible to please the weirdos like me who have this issue with the game.

I have a berserker pure. Since the coming of new content such as inquisitor armor, i feel my account being devalued. I would like to return to 42 def (100% xp gained by questing & remove the manual trained xp from 42-45). It's a bit of a far stretch, but making an entirely new account seems just wrong. I would vote yes if the system allows us to return to our minimum xp gained from our completed quests

Hello, I have 1 prayer. I really want to be able to go into mortania so I can go to the slayer tower. I feel having exp rewards from quests in lamp form is a great idea. Please implement this jagex, I love this game but I miss mortania
