Really looking forward to this!

The money "gained" from the increase of the membership price must go somewhere and developing new systems is not cheap. But I hope some of it goes for the developers as well.

I think that if this player support service actually gets implemented and its a real service and not the "support" we have now, it would be a HUGE improvement for the company and player experience. Since my account got banned 2 years ago that i spent over 5 years making for something that I didnt even do and i couldn't even talk to anyone about it, i quit RS since then for that reason even though i have many other accounts. The fact that Jagex doesn't have a support system at all in place right now that works is insane, they just ban people left and right without question, without talking to the account owner to see what might be happening, and then without even having a system in place that lets the player dispute it and give a reason as to the "why" it got banned.

If someone at the Jagex team would just take the 10 mins to talk to me about my account they would find im 100% genuine and the ban is unjust. If it gets unbanned I would automatically renew my yearly subscription too and re-support the company because i love the game. But as of now there is no way in hell i would pay a cent for Jagex after this ban on a account i spent 5 years making when the reason it got banned wasnt even my fault.

I know many other players have had similar issues like mine because i read through the forums and it seems players with accounts they spend years on just get banned for something really minor, or something they didnt even do with no evidence and they cant talk to anyone about it.

If this company wants to stay alive this new player support system better do a good job, and probably start un-banning accounts that are obviously not just bot accounts and real players who got unjustly banned.

If any moderator sees this and feels like im trustworthy and wants to atleast talk with me then reply to this and i can tell you my story.

PS: Your "improvements" using OAUTH are dangerous. I find it odd your security team has not advised against it. You said you own the accounts, its true because it is on your website. Therefore it is YOUR job to protect us while we use the accounts that you let us name. But you say it is our job to do it so that you are not liable for mistakes that happen. You will be opening a massive door for hackers and in short, not protecting us but endangering us in the process.

I should not need to explain further, your security team should have already made you aware of the situation long ago when conversing methods.
