Again we don’t care about leaderboards, status, all we care about is playing together with the restrictions that are set for group Ironman.
There are people that played "ironman" or "diy" accounts before ironman mode was implemented. There were people that played without a bank before ultimate ironman was introduced. They don't have the helm icon.
There is literally nothing stopping you from playing the way you want with your friends. If you want the group ironman helm, then you're gonna have to make a new account. Simple as.

Let's get this straight. You want to participate in group ironman with your friend. But you don't want to start a new account as is required of all new group ironmen accounts.
But your friend is hacked. You want to share your bank with a person that has poor account security. And you want to use old accounts which would, by default, be less secure than new accounts.
