you are the one who can change it, you have to power to do it...

pls split the two questions :(
wouldnt be much effort for you and it would give the acb a chance it will never pass with this op spec

The spec really isn't op.
It is if you have a clouded view with how it works or are too ignorant to know how much more powerful the ags and dbow spec is compared to it.
Aka more than 25% of the rs population.

But yes, it really isn't op considering ags can hit 70 in rag gear or 80 in max, and dbow can hit 80 in rag, 96 in max. d bolts can't even hit 70 in max. Acb also has 32 less accuracy than a godsword. It is underpowered when considering in pvp you could sip an anti fire potion or wear a dfs and the spec would be reduced dramatically.

I thought implementation of rares would be on a short list of poor updates but they continue to come. I look at the options and I see so many overpowered weapons and potions being introduced extremely quickly. The lack of ingenuity is what bothers me more than anything though. None of these options are really innovative.

I was never a huge fan of GWD. After it was released back in 2007, all my friends decided to boss kill all the time instead of enjoying the other aspects of Runescape. I also feel that it really devalues slayer and the time players invested into the skill. If we are going to introduce OP weapons into the game then lets create some new content instead of recycling updates.

Anyway, I despise most of these suggestions. However, unfortunately, I see most of them being incorporated into the game. I'm also very confused about why you guys were so strict initially with the 75% requirement to add content and now you're trying to push something through that didn't pass.

I apologize for being a Debbie-downer guys. I just feel like I've seen this happen before and I'd hate to see it happen again.

The proposed weapons for mage and range are nice. They are not nearly powerful enough to offset the Armadyl Godsword. Perhaps this is a good approach to the next level of weapons if the Godswords could be nerfed down to the same level as these.

Please do not make Herblore, Slayer, or Crystal bow rewards come from a mini game or boss fighting.

I like training Herblore, gathering ingredients, growing herbs, getting drops from Slayer or thieving and easy monsters, and being self sufficient.

If suddenly it becomes required to kill boss monsters in the Nightmare Zone to get ingredients to make the best potions or even worse, potions which are already made but better than any potions I can make through Herblore, then Herblore becomes nearly worthless and not a way to earn GP like it should be.

Because I will likely never play the Nightmare Zone mini game, instead of Herblore being a way for me to save GP by making potions myself instead of buying them off other players, and instead of being a way to earn GP, Herblore would become a way to lose GP because all my GP would go to boss fighters if I want the potions or the ingredients.

I really hope Old School does not end up like RS3 where non combat skills become poor GP making methods compared to boss fighting, while boss fighters have banks worth billions and the game is heavily unbalanced for earning GP any way other than from boss fighting or PVP staking which I do not do.

Is it really so much to ask that Slayer items come from Slayer?

Is it too much to ask that Herblore ingredients come from Farming, Slayer, Thieving or gathering them from spawns and not involve boss fighting or having to buy ingredients off players who boss fight, which would make boss fighters rich, but for me would make Herblore a way to lose GP instead of a way to make GP?

Is it too much to ask that any Crystal bow upgrade comes from an Elf related quest and not from a mini game involving boss fighting which I would likely never play?

If these rewards do end up coming from the Nightmare Zone, please also make them available some other way which does not involve boss fighting or a mini game.

I train combat, but I am primarily a skiller and quester who does not boss fight or PVP.
Hi.

If you are wearing a quest cape at the moment when you complete an Endurance dream, the cape could become trimmed blue, giving it a +2 prayer bonus and increasing its defence stats from +9 to +11.

If you are wearing a quest cape at the moment when you complete a hard Endurance dream, the cape could become trimmed red, giving it a +2 prayer bonus and a +1 attack bonus, and increasing its defence stats from +9 to +11.

WHAT.

WHAT.

People on RS3 have been asking for a trimmed quest cape for ages, and it suddenly gets implemented on Old School?

Reiterating, WHAT?!

I feel the Crystal bow reward is fitting because they only have 4 people on the OSRS team and can't make huge quests.

I feel the same about everything else though. I suggested for Hexcrest/focus sight to come with GWD dropped by Spiritual rangers/warriors (Slayer tasks not worth completing, no special drops from these) but Mod Ash said they can't create new graphics. Surely, they could create some sort of add-on to the Black mask or something dropped by Spiritual rangers/warriors but they would prefer to cram it into NMZ. I'd prefer slayer rewards being dropped by slayer monsters, and herblore secondaries not coming from a minigame.

Hell, if people wanted to have more options to get secondaries into the game, why not just add snape grass seeds, mort myre seeds, seaweed seeds (underwater patch added, high yield), flax seeds(high yield patch also), potato cactus seeds into the game...
The only rewards I see fitting to NMZ are NON RESOURCE REWARDS.

I am very excited to see the updates in this content poll. I feel like the Old School Runescape team has done a great job of trying to listen to player feed back and set Old School on the correct path that the mess of a game that RS3 should have become. As someone who has always loved questing in runescape I hope to eventually see some polls suggesting the idea of adding more quests into the game or even adding new ones that are different from those on RS3. I know that the development team for this version of the game is sadly limited (Which I think is a shame considering its much better than RS3 even though its simply an older version of the game), but I would love to see more quests in the game or at least the idea that new ones will be added in the future. Although with the mention of the slayer update I'm hoping that the quest to unlock slayer points may be added to the game. After all my ranting though, I have to say I'm very pleased with the direction Old School is going and hope that the development team continues with great content ideas like these.
