Hopefully this is more than just hot air. Rs3's C++client was an unmitigated disaster from the compatibility or bug perspectives and the UI scaling and other new graphics options barely if at all made up for it.

Their steam release also stopped getting new reviews after the first week and was hailed as a victory for months.

I think Mod MikeD has more common sense though, so who knows
