I like the message, and hope it's followed up on.

One thing about the part about bots got me thinking about something I saw someone say on the forums yesterday. They were complaining about goldfarming bots selling a mass amount of yew logs. Then he commented along the lines of 'oh well, cheap yews'.

While it might be hard to resist cheap items, try buying items from legit players instead.

Wow, I have been raging for the last week about the botting situation and reading this has already calmed me down a bit. Hopefully, you guys will follow through with the botwatch integration. I don't know how much it would help because I don't know much about it, but if you are trying as hard as you can, then I am happier.

Hey Mod Pips,

I applaud all the efforts Jagex is making to keep OSRS a great game. Taking out gambling is a respectable choice and I support this decision fully and the reasons regarding it.

I am also glad you made reporting right-clickable as this makes things easier on us players. :D Keep up on the great work on your fight against bots; as I see no botters other than the annoying auto-talkers.

Again, thank you very much for maintaining a great game.

Original message details are unavailable.
"Similarly, don’t condone such behaviour from others and make bot use and real-world-trading socially unacceptable. Let your friends and clan mates know that you think buying gold or using bots is wrong and won’t be tolerated."

- Not an impressive response to bots. Many of the people botting today are with the goldfarming companies - not your average 13 year olds trying to make some money off flax. Granted some of the bots belong to normal players, but it seems as if most are RWT companies, I find it hard to believe they'll be influenced by peer pressure.

P-Mods

- Please do not post on the forums about recruiting P-Mods. Did you forgot about Are You Community Focused? The game is doing just fine with the limited P-Mod presence and there isn't a need to encourage WBM'ing which mod recruitment ALWAYS brings. Scale up P-Mods quietly, or not at all please..

Go mention that auto-typing is botting and get your average 13 yr old spam from any bank from multiple players.

Never assume that it is only a few and while I am at it even one is too many. No players should be using bots to progress in the game either directly on main or indirectly with junk accounts. Happens you that you think.

Great news today!

I wouldn't have loved to see OSRS evolving with Street Gambling. And please don't implement this Squeel of Fortune just yet... give it some years!

--> I got a question, why didn't you wait until making things more properly before rebooting RS.07 ? You could have at least placed a more actual Anti-Robot device.

I am still thanking you DevAwesomeTeam to work alot with us for the upcoming patchs!

Really good news to see the decision to remove gambling from OS servers. And a huge thanks for implementing the right-click report option. It has been hard reporting bots as they tend to have long random letter names making it very difficult to type in on the report interface. So the right-click reporting is a very welcome update.

Great update, but having the report abuse button really screws up quick trading, such as law runes, or world 1/2 trading stacks of people. Lots of missclicks. I've already accidentally misclicked a report on someone :C
