I support the idea of paying a fee to enter the caves but i dont support the idea of pkers getting that fee when killing them, there's no money sink in that, just like with the vls, why give the full 50m when killing someone for it? There's no money sink in that and in my opinion that's really stupid, you guys should lower the money players get when killing others for untradeables and such.
Like every update you guys do there's a new monster or boss to indtroduce ridiculous amounts of supplies and gp ingame, like introduce something new where u could get a decent weapon or armour that's untradeable instead of making everything about something that gives obecene amounts of supplies or gp which inentivate gold farmers even more.

Jagex I am disgusted.

Why do you seem to despise the PvP community?

It is quite disappointing that now if you die in PvP with your assembler that it longer breaks and you lose on death!!!

We do not want to have to keep killing Vorkath everytime we die.

Please bring back the broken repair option for Assembler

I now have to pick my bolts back up again using the Accumulator even though I spent heaps of money killing Vorkath for the assembler

The main concern was venezuelans and bots infesting the caves, not pkers in general. These changes will kill the Revenant Caves once and for all. By nerfing the loot table, you will kill PvM and by introducing anti-pjing and single combat zone everywhere, nobody will go there to pk. This is the most stupid proposal I've ever read from Jagex in 16 years. This is more stupid than removing trade limit...

Hi Jagex!

Regarding "singles plus" environment feature - This is a nice suggestion. Have you also considered making some areas of the wilderness be multi-combat but only attackable by less than 3-4 players? I think it would encourage more people to enter the wilderness and pvp in small groups knowing that a massive clan wouldn't log in and demolish them.

I couldn't find a forum post for the current poll, but I wanted to add Castle Wars feedback. As an Ironman, I want to play Castle Wars but I don't get XP from players. It would be nice if I could trade in XP for tickets. I also think that the rewards are too expensive. 4550 tickets would take roughly 10 days of gameplay time and most items are entirely cosmetic with no use, apart from Halos for certain accounts. It would be nice if the reward costs be scaled down.

As a general feedback, thanks for all of the quality of life updates. In general, I like the idea of revitalization of old content. Power creep is a big issue in games. It would be nice to see some older content get reworked. One simple idea I had would be to rework the Ranger's guild to have a higher requirement and maybe even sell some higher level ranging equipment.

For older mini games, I would like to see the reward costs of items lowered. I think that more players would participate knowing that they could actually obtain most of what the rewards shop has to offer. Consider Trouble Brewing, where very few players have even one reward. Conversely, a mini game could give more rewards. For example, the Tzhaar fight pits could give more tokkul so that players would actually have a reason to play the game. This could be applied to untradeable items and some tradeable ones.

Thanks for reading.

I understand that the revenant caves have to be dealt with. The issues of gold farming and clan manipulation there are huge issues for the game. I don't think there are any valid arguments for keeping revenant caves the way it is currently.

I like the proposals so far that were mentioned, but I think you can do better for both communities.

Having a profitable area be multi combat is encouraging to legitimate player killing groups and other players alike. It would be interesting to have more requirements needed for more of the money making areas. I believe that adding a fee to an area in the wilderness is counter productive and solves almost nothing. The singles plus mechanic is novel, and I like it, however I feel that it could be exploited as well. I'm not sure how you can implement a great money maker like revenants into the wilderness without repercussions resulting from it.

Expanding the slayer cave to a new area makes perfect sense. I would be interested in hearing which monsters you plan to include there and if there are any new tasks coming to the wilderness. If you make wilderness slayer more profitable, I imagine that the wilderness activity will increase.

I don't believe a drop increase of Larran's keys will make that much of an impact due to the Larran's chest being lack-luster, in my opinion. Adding high level slayer content might bring more activity to the wilderness as well. This would include high-level monsters and slayer level dependent areas. I think this would "spice" things up a bit as far as wilderness slayer goes. I also believe that maybe, with any more implementation of new items, there should be consideration for new slayer monsters which would drop those items, or pieces of them. These monsters would only be in the wilderness and given as a wilderness slayer only task, in regards to slayer purposes, as well as having a slayer level requirement to kill them, possibly access to them as well.

Furthermore, I believe that the slayer master should be moved from Edgeville to Ferox's Enclave or elsewhere in the wilderness. I feel that Ferox's enclave opens up a huge door for other players to be in the middle of the wilderness and provides an appendage from "normal" runescape into the wilderness.

I believe it is worth while to try the current decision the OSRS team made regarding the revenant caves change, however, I believe that it won't change much other than reduce activity in the wilderness, unfortunately. If the fee is implemented, I think that some of the fee should result in a coin-sink.

The only other thing I can think of is having revenants in an area that would allow pvmers to harvest loot and minimize the impact of a clan in assisting with that. Possibly having most of the area under 30 wilderness would eliminate such a need for a clan? Or moving it to very deep wilderness would change how clans and pvmers function and access it? I feel removing the revenant teleport is key as well. Making people work and travel through the wilderness takes away from the protection element.

ALSO - Very disappointed that this thread and the news post had no title mentioning the wilderness or revenant caves.
