It’s still very annoying to me that people decided to vote for this stuff to be main game in the first place. Yes, the rewards are nice, but I’m being forced to play a game mode where I just don’t have the time to spend like I once did to re-grind out a lot of the 99s I’ve gotten using a specific area (thus limiting which methods I can use for grinding). A lot of these rewards should really come from an in-game end quest or in-game minigame, but that’s just my opinion. (For example, an NPC challenges you to kill Skotizo with level 40 range gear, and completing the task earns you points. The trophies are worth like 10, 100, 1000, 10000, etc. points, and the task is repeatable if the NPC assigns it again. I really imagine ideas from Artisan, and maybe even a little bit of sailing, can be reused here).
I really don’t like that I have to play this game mode, but as a completionist, it doesn’t feel right to pay someone else to do my league-playing for me (by me buying a reward off of them). I would really rather grind out a mini-game in main game than repeatedly create ironmen and grind out 99s on them. I know people do like leagues, though, or like the challenge of doing raids at low levels, etc, but I do not. Maybe as a compromise, you could make it so leagues and in-game events (or in-game minigames) let you get points? It would also reduce the feeling of exclusivity by a lot of players.
Lastly, I don’t understand why trophies aren’t just a build-able trophy in your house. You could make it so deadman mode and clan wars can be included as build-ables, too. I also really don’t like the fact that my adamant trophy is 2-handed. How am I supposed to wear my crystal grail with it?
