Personally I support clan wars, and I support pvp worlds as long as there are no statuettes, EP system, or xp bonuses for training in them.
I used to be against GWD, but I think if you balanced it before you released it then it would be great. This is my idea for god wars dungeon drops in oldschoolscape.
1. Zamorak boss drops adjusted to having an ancient zamorakian staff dropped which would be able to auto-cast both ancients and modern magic. It's stats would be better than the ancient staff and you would be able to wield a shield with it still.
Add zamorakian robes that provide a very good magic bonus and some slight prayer bonus and a moderate defense bonus.
This will balance the combat triangle a little bit more.
2. Change bandos boss to give the bandos boots a strength bonus and change the special attack of the bgs to only use 80% special attack bar, thus keeping these items' prices from crashing.
3. Armadyl boss drops an armadyl crossbow which gives the highest range bonus of any crossbow in the game. Special attack could be a very accurate shot or pherhaps lower the defence of an opponent by what you hit, or a different special entirely, maybe a d mace type of effect? If armadyl still has a godsword drop then change it's special to use 75%+ special attack.
4. Saradomin boss no longer drops saradomin sword, which I think we can agree will put the last stake in slayer's heart and was in general an overpowered weapon. Add saradomin robes to the drop table, which when worn give very powerful prayer armor that has good defense bonuses for all three combat types, and doesn't give negative attack bonuses to any of the combat triangles. This will break melee's monopoly on prayer boosting gear.
5. Could give extra bonuses if anyone has a complete set of the above armours and weapons, similar to barrows.
Also change the stats of karil's armor to be better than black dragonhide, and make ahrim's staff a 1 handed weapon.
