i really enjoyed the original lms much more than this version. while certain aspects were frustrating, such as not getting at least adequate gear, crappy pj timer, little to no incentive to play the game such as rewards... it was still way more fun popping chests to find useful items rather than having to kill someone to get a bis item. it's angled towards players who regularly tribrid, and for people who already know how/are good, why go to lms when you can just pk? im not the greatest brid but i've definitely fought some people who have obviously never tried once, and where's the incentive for them to play if they're just gonna get beat down. ultimately, old lms turned into a waiting game to see who runs out of supplies first, and this one is no different.
instead of unlimited prayer, i propose NO prayer whatsoever. with unlimited prayer, you force people to play a certain way, and people don't like that. lms didn't start as a tribrid minigame, it started as a battle royale minigame. there's nothing really battle royale about it anymore. it's a tribrid tournament. that's it. deadman finale lite
instead of starting with full invy/gear, i propose starter gear be ONLY weapons/pure set up (ie no armor). humans are addictive creatures and there is nothing more addictive than opening that next chest to see what's inside. not having chests to open but deciding the gear for players is like forcing fps players to play with a single loadout.
i was addicted af to the original lms, and was excited about the beta. i've been taking a little breather from rs the last few months and got mems specifically for the beta. while the original turnout was pretty nice, i've noticed the numbers drop drastically. the people who don't nh were the first to go, the people who liked the chests went next, and all that's left are pkers who nh in the wild, and once they realize they can make money pking rather than waste time in lms, they'll be gone too and lms will be dead once more
