I have actually pked. I don't think they are overpowered, but that is a matter of opinion.
It's just down to some people complaining because others will have a batter weapon and have the potential to higher, that doesn't mean at level 75 attack, you can hit constant 70s, like you think.
They are a special weapon. It is pointless having them without the special attack. Pking now is just whips and dds for melee, which is stale and boring for some people. What is the point in everybody being so evenly matched?
I actually find that boring.
The Armadyl godsword will be priced extremely high, so you won't see everybody walking around with them.. If you have the money, you deserve the ability to use its special attack, which you are also risking the weapon at the same time.
Also, void rangers can hit 49, 49 with a dark bow special. Explain to me how that is worse than an AGS?
Also, dragonstone bolts (e) can max at around 70.
Not to mention granite mauls.
Dark bow + enerrgy transfew = 2 special attacks.
Do you really think you just walk in and hit 70, 70? It's not going to happen. Sure, it might happen once in a while, but nowhere near as often as you think.
As for the rest, you just disregarded what I said previously.
