Bonus Hydraboss thoughts:
Personally I love the grotesque guardians bossfight with its mechanics, length and attention required, though we can all agree that it could a bit more rewarding. The Alchemical hydra promises to be rather rewarding so I am very much excited for a long and throughout fight.
Ranged dominates the game in many places: Vorkath, Raids1, Revenants, Zulrah, Gargoyle boss, Fight caves, Inferno and many others are either primarily fought with ranged, or ranged is is also at least necessary in the fight. Hence I'd be hoping the Hydra would not be killed with ranged. If the bossfight requires 2 styles; melee and mage would be a good and rare combo (unless you'd need all 3 styles).
The hydra could for example just have ridiclously high ranged defence (like thermy) to prevent a ranged meta, but this feels rather artificial. One thing all slayer bosses have in common is a very low defence - which is nice and all but maybe this time the mould could be broken? A high overall defence would make the blowpipe considerably worse at the boss and if for once you'd *need* accuracy boni rather than going for max str setup everywhere, it could be rather interesting.
Also if the hydra was to have a low magic level it would 1) not be twisted bowable 2) naturally weak(er) to the aforementioned style of magic.

- Brimstone ring: I think not being able to enchant it would make it a bit underpowered. I am a pvmer and i do not see myself using that ring in any situation. I think a rework of the ring might be useful. Idea: remove the defensive stats and make the enchanted version give 150% of the initial stats (instead of the 200% you get on regular rings enchant).
- Bonecrusher necklace: I really do not see a point for this item in the game, just as i never understood the dragonbone necklace. I view this as a waste of a potentially useful drop so it would be great if you thought out other rewards instead of this. Since i see that a bit of the items proposed are oriented towards tribrid stats i would like to suggest an attachment to amulet of fury instead that would still keep it under the BiS amulets of each style but buff it a little.
- Ferocious gloves: Overall like the idea and agree with them being added to barrows gloves. Also since we've gone this way i'd say a ranged version of the gloves is in order as well.
- Dragon hunter lance: It's nice to have a melee version of DHCB but i fear this might devalue the ghrazi rapier, which is already a niche item for a supposedly BiS melee 1h weapon. I don't really know what people use the rapier for (slayer maybe?) so please check your data and make sure that this doesn't happen.

For the Kebos diary, why aren't the elite reqs 90rc and 93 smithing. Crafting soul runes and making the highest tier Shayzien armour are things that can only done in Kourend.

Looking forward to the Lowlands!

Absolutely agree.... these are ELITE diary so they should be highest skills ... 85+ ... but still looking forward for Diary ;)

Rapier is noticeably better than whip so basically it is BIS for almost all PvM (unless you use scythe). It's BIS for normal slayer, for most bosses (Bandos, Supreme, Garg boss, Cerb, Thermy, KBD...), also for raids (can stab at Vasa + kill Olm hand), its best for killing stab weak NPC's (most dragons)
Dhunter lance would replace Rapier at Raids1, probably Hydra (boss), Skeletal wyverns and Rune dragon alts, but rapier would still have pretty much all other PvM
(and 75 att pures can use rapier in PvP as a tier up from sara sword)

I absolutely love how much time and effort was put into this Dev Blog, absolutely amazing guys, good work. Mostly everything looks good but I have a few concerns. The Kourend Achievement Diary- the 95 Slayer requirement definitely relates to killing a Hydra, if we do have to kill the Alchemical Hydra at least let us be able to boost to kill it once off-task. Getting 93 slayer for the Thermonuclear Boss is already there, and it's a tough one especially because you have to actually have the level to kill it. I don't see the rewards for the Elite Diary being worth getting 95 Slayer for. So if you could just either allow a one off task kill (boostable) or perhaps allow us to kill a regular Hydra for the task (also boostable) that would be great.

The Ferocious gloves- probably not the best idea to just put them on a Boss drop table and making them tradeable so other players don't have to work to get the best offensive gloves, maybe make it a tradable Ferocious Attachment to go on the Barrows Gloves to give them a slight boost to make them the new bis degradable gloves, so you get the best of both worlds.

Brimstone Ring- Looks good for a bit of PVP content, it's nice to see some PVM Boss drops being focused on PVP meta.

Bonecrusher Necklace- Love it! Saves an inventory space for the Bonecrusher and being able to detach it from the Necklace so if you want to use another Amulet you can is a brilliant idea!

Boots of Stone and Brimstone- I like the idea, as long as you can wear the Boots of Brimstone into the Slayer Cave and they act like Boots of Stone that's fine by me.

Everything else looks really good guys! Thank you so much for all the content you're pitching this year and next. Can't wait for Elf City! :)

For Ferocious gloves, could you make them a required attachment/upgrade to Barrows gloves, and provide them the following stats instead:

+16 Stab
+16 Slash
+16 Crush
+16 Magic
+16 Ranged

+14 Strength

It's silly to offer any content stronger than Barrows gloves, that don't require them and can instead simply be purchased and worn. So, please, make Barrows gloves a required item for using Ferocious gloves.

Oh, and perhaps reduce the required Defence level to 70 or 75, rather than 80?

By the way, could you detail what Cooking level is required to cook the raw variants of the Bluegill, Common trench, Mottled eel, and Greater siren, and how many Hitpoints their cooked variants will heal? ... or would there only be the option to cut them into Fish chunks?

Agreed - thank you so much, Jagex! :) But be sure to consider player feedback; there are so many great ideas here, and I'm certain other individuals are more knowledgeable with specific aspects of the game could provide better feedback; cheers!

Wouldn't it make more sense for the anima plants to have a certain number of charges, rather than a time limit? If they only last 3.5 days, I'd feel like I have to do nothing but farming for that time. Instead, they could have a certain number of charges, which could be used up each time you plant soemthing. That way you wouldn't have to rush to get the most out of each seed.
