How come there is no pure cup? that is like 30-40% of the clanning community.
Search "jagex cup" on youtube and you will find the pure jagex cup has ~60k+ views and the main jagex cup has ~5k views. Just food for thought to show that there is interest in this.
The reason people didn't sign up for the pure cup the last 2 years is because every person was like "oh we'll just sign up for the 90- combat cup" in 2011, but then people who weren't pure clans brought people that were level 91-126. Jagex moderators were like oh "as long as you have 1 level 90- in your clan, you are allowed to compete."
Again the reason we signed up for the 90- instead of the pure cup was because there were several clans already signed up for the 90- so we thought "well that's cool, we can sign up for the 90- and show our strength vs people outside of our category"
Then every person was like "well gee thanks for clarifying" after everything has started and we were so mad at Jagex that none of us entered the Jagex cup last year because of how poorly it was ran and we just ran our own. - Since it's not like we were even recognized by a plaque or by getting our own logo on the clan cloak even though the pure community's war was the most exciting to watch...
Also don't set a 100 person cap to the arena.
And if you are wondering about rules for the pure cup... We usually did 1 defence armor only. The defence level cap should be 25-.
In 2010 jagex didn't really care and just made the pure cup 45-def no armor cap, but it wasn't a problem since there were no 45def- clans, it was all 30-def clans and the majority of members in all of these clans were under 20 defense anyway. If you look at the video you will see most people are in monk robes and some in mith. maybe 1 or 2 in black, but this was only because FOE thought they could use their 8 def level average to their advantage over MM's 4 def level average. So every1 brought armor.
