I don't know if this was meant to be implemented but before the change, whilst farming you were able to click on a herb patch, allotment or whatever and generate faster results instead of clicking once and waiting. Now, regardless of spam clicking, you can't yield faster results when farming on those type of patches. Was this intentional?

Seems like the rollback could have been completely avoided if you didn't decide to make it harder for your players to train thieving

Luckily I was already asleep when you decided to roll back the game 2 hours

Don't get me wrong, I love updates but this is more of a nerf on the best thieving method than an update in my opinion for the most part

I remember getting angry about the void nerf, it was out for years and had no reason to be nerfed because it was fine for just about... forever

I'm even fine with nerfs, just nerf it in a reasonable time after the update, and don't nerf things that have been around since the 2007 backup which still exist in rs3 (or pre eoc era for void) without any problems :P

Couldn't have said it better.

absolute garbage osrs team, ive seen some shit updates from you guys, but this shit here is eoc tier trash

I appreciate the game going offline wasn't ideal, and we're very sorry about that. I don't see how any of these updates are comparable to something of the scale of EoC. You're welcome to convince me otherwise, but I think this is nonsense.

This problem wasn't present in 2007, it's came about as a result of changes to the NPC and the camera movement. Ardy knights were a hotspot for auto-clicking. Adding one more click to every 28th pickpocket has not stopped this method from being a viable (the best) training method.

I'm unsure if it's intentional, but it's been raised for review.

So I managed to get a bit of pickpocketing in before the rollback started.

Rogue's set does nothing now for gold.

This makes me very angry.

What do you mean? You get the gold and the pouch.

mod swen i just unlocked 60 def and got a kill in dmm will my key be taken away because of the rollback?

If it occurred in the 19 minutes between the game update and the game going offline then I'm afraid you will have lost it.

@Mod Sween:

I really appreciate you responding to us, if I may suggest though...

I would focus on updating the anti bot measures rather than doing stuff like this, because where one thing is fixed the bots move to another thing that isn't , The hunter fix was 100% acceptable to me because its not a problem to most players to do a quest and carry on skilling as normal

I didn't even know autoclickers used the camera settings, or if a new update to the camera system which should be newer and not have this problem existed, if they do use the camera settings and it takes advantage of a new system then its an incredibly sophisticated macro for an autoclicker and probably needs to be tackled in better ways rather than forcing them to just make them open the pouches :P

Go take a quick glance at the thieving hiscores at high thieving xp in particular and you tell me if its not done its damage already

As of right now there is 231 people with 200m thieving which is very crazy for such a click intensive and non afk skill and I can't imagine how many people are lower than that but above 100m xp or so... I have a 122 hunter rank with only 93m xp, even with the bots that did this, I guess the difference is its easier to ban hunter bots but who knows

It is bedtime though... but yeah might wanna see about changing the camera and npc settings at least for knights or banning more people lol

Actually it would make me happy if new thieving content comes out that replaces the knights so the fix would be less of a problem for actual players and makes some money rather than making pyramid plunder seem more competitive

Can we make a slight buff to pickpocketing?

For example we have 28 inventory spaces, we need 1 free space for the pouches so 27.
If I have the rest of my inventory full of sharks I can only hold that 1 stack of pouches but if I eat a shark and gain another inventory space can we allow another stack of pouches?

In total 28 stacks of 28 pouches ... 28 * 28 = 784 pickpockets
