Honestly a little disappointed in this spread of poll questions, as this was the category I was hoping for the most change in, and it really feels like there were a lot of good suggestions that have been overlooked. Feels like it should've just been an Other category.

While I appreciate how much the community's opinions are usually taken into account, this feels like a hugely missed opportunity.

There's seriously only 2 questions here that even seem to pertain to minigames...

Some of these minigames actually need work! There are daily people trying to play Last Man Standing but cant because the CC connected to the minigames interface for it wont allow anyone in.

There is a difference between a minigame rewrite/revitalisation project and QoLs. QoLs have to be short jobs that we can get done in a matter of a few hours - if they weren't, QoL month would turn into QoL year and have a knock on effect on all the other projects.

There have been lots of people wanting vague "improvements" to lots of minigames. There have been less people asking for specific changes. There have been sadly very few questions asked regarding minigames that can be considered a QoL.

To give one example (which has gone onto our list for future polls):

"1k Point exchange in Pest Control to extend 1 10 100"

We thought this was a great idea and wanted to do it. Sounded like the perfect QoL, let's just add that option onto the interface and boom, done.
Having looked into the code base to assess its technical feasibility, I discovered that it is one of our "old style" interfaces which we are unable to edit.
This means that to do the little QoL job we first have to create the interface from scratch to implement it.
This turns it from a short QoL to a fairly substantial job on its own.

I hope this goes some way to clarifying why certain jobs turn into their own projects whilst others can qualify for QoL.

I'd vote but voting is xpwaste and so is playing this game as higher xp rates come out every week

Haha "minigames QoL week" only 3 of the questions were even related to them and one of them was about adding a tick delay on shutting doors in castle wars!

Shows how much you care about fixing all of the dead minigames.

I can appreciate that, better see about renaming the blog then and seeing about setting aside future development schedules in favour of improving these dead minigames.

Trouble brewing, Duel Arena (outside of it only being used for gambling), Burthorpe Games Room, TzHaar Fight Caves, Gnome Ball, Gnome Restaurant, Rat Pits, Shades, Tai Bwo Cleanup and whichever others I missed all need changes in one way or another.

You can't seriously sit there and say there was a lack of options to choose from in terms of small changes.

Question 15 seems unclear. Using "short" to describe the fixed time streams last is rather relative... I'd like a more specific time to be stated. Also, tears loses its appeal at higher levels since ~10k xp reward (including lumbridge diary) is a trivial amount to be gaining per week for an activity you have to do. "I can gain this experience in mostly every skill in about the amount of time it takes to complete tears of guthix anyway". I'd like to see an increased experience reward for players with a higher lowest stat.

I feel like a good way to approach this is to perhaps increase experience from the hard lumb diary to 50% more and add a 100% increase to the elite lumb diary.

This is an activity that I've done about as often as I'm allowed to, and I want it to stay relevant at higher levels.

EDIT: Changing the formula also seems like a suitable adjustment that could be made

An update that would be a QoL update for a minigame is adding a "Vote to kick" -option to Castle Wars. There are currently so many "sabos" and afkers each game, it takes the competition out. No one bothers trying to achieve the objective of the game anymore, everyone just ramdomly kills, runs or tanks. Basically, the team with the least afkers and sabos will win.
