I think the ZMI alter would make some runecrafters rage.

Why would it make us rage? The ZMI altar is a good alternative to the abyss. You make a little less money but get a little more xp. If you don't have lunars or if your combat defenses are low, you are put at a disadvantage, just like abyss. It's fine if you ask me.

I definitely wouldn't mind going there every once in a while if I'm running into abyss pkers all day.


There are complaints about its xp rate being overpowered, and then Rc wouldn't be profitable again. Bosh in my opinion. It was an interesting alternative to the abyss, I agree.

You want to maintain profitable Rc folks? Then you might want to focus on an actual problem that WILL kill it: the bots.

All they can do is ask us what we want. If you quit over them adding some kind of content, it's because you disagree with at least 75% of the players.

If people want the GWD, why don't they go back to the main game and frolic in the snow until their heart is content?

I never want to see the GWD added. I do think after some time (several months) we may need more monsters to fight. I think these should all be "New" (as in not from eoc) monsters that drop "New" items that the community votes on. Maybe have more slayer monsters (not like gargoyles,abby demon's) but more like smaller monsters that we can train slayer on. (basically widen the range of monsters we can get from slayer) Because after doing slayer for long enough you kinda get bored with the same few monsters so adding a new one every now and again would be ok. Just no new items that are way over powered or really items to deal with combat at all. Combat should not change so don't add new weapons maybe add skiller drop or a cosmetic type drop with the new monsters like something just for looks or maybe that gives a cool emote. The new armor graphics are bad, EoC is bad, SoF is bad. In other words, it's not as black and white as *hat; there are plenty of good updates, and even more bad updates.


I have never been to GWD, and I would prefer not to have godswords in the game, but right now there isn't that much endgame content, and there are legitimate concerns about playing an MMO that is stuck at August 10, 2007. There needs to be content updates eventually.

Either way, I seriously doubt that if they add GWD update to the polls in the next few weeks, it will pass. Anyone complaining about Jagex adding it are silly.

How about before we start voting on poles for updates to Old School, we add a pole for which 75% of the Old Population votes in favor of adding content updates.


Before you know it this is going to be Runescape seconds before EoC went live. Why go through the trouble of naming this 2007 Runescape when it's not even 2007 Runescape!?


VOTE FOR NO CONTENT UPDATES. Sure, updates like faster banking or enter login, are fine because they don't change the structure of the game. They just make the game play smoother and less frusterating. However, I came to 2007 Runescape to play 2007 Runescape. Most of us did.
