The aim here is to make the helm have more uses, but not in such a passive way as it did before the nerf. And if players are okay with it doing that in PvP, we can certainly offer it, though we tend to be more cautious about such changes. But if you think it's all about a secret irrational hatred towards a particular section of our paying customers , there's probably no reason that you'd ever be persuaded to think otherwise :P

This is way outdated and either let us screen our clan chats from these racist spammer with my proposed toggle for only members and not f2p being able to join the clan chat, or ban the N word from the game, and all variants of it in the username options (replacing I with L).

I just really tired of racist spammer in the clan chat and would like to propose the member only toggle for clan chats as well as banning the n word and other racial slurs from the rs dialouge (if 3 k's are banned in game even with chat filter, so should racial slurs).


I’ve seen this happen in a number of popular chats and it’s a very concerning trend. I’d like to see Jagex address these “chat DDoS” attacks as well, hopefully giving players more resources to defend against them.

Not to mention, clan chats could certainly use some Mod Ash coding love. I’m sure it wouldnt be an unpopular QoL.

I've done the code for it, and also the Ardougne cape and some other stuff, but they've not got through testing yet. Shouldn't be far away though.


Any thoughts on making a higher level Slayer drop enchant the leaf blades weapons I would love to see a sink for these weapons and would love to have a special weapon that requires high Slayer to use.

So, my guess is that this question will go unanswered (by jagex at any rate) but I still feel compelled to ask it.

My most favourite part of the news post today is this:

"This change will not be live in King of the Skill worlds as to not impact strategies mid-way through the contest."

Awesome that you were willing to not impact an ongoing competition and though I've not yet participated in it, I wanted to thank you for that.. thank you!

On to my question..

What level of difficulty was encountered in excluding today's updates from a few specific worlds? Was it a simple process or did it take numerous man-hours and all of your team to accomplish it?

Hey!

Nice update!

I just noticed, while doing my herb farm run, that the character is wielding Magic secateurs in a quite funny looking way - I'm not sure if it's a new herb-harvesting-technique the character has recently mastered, but I assume, it's some sort of bug..:')!

I'm not sure if posting Gyazo-links (or other links) is appropriate in the forums, so I'm not posting a picture about it, but I thought it'd be a good idea to report about it here.

Ash, by the way, I love your dedication to the game and community, huge respect!

Can't help but think the "Buy-10" option for Runes was always there for a reason. It gave players the ability to buy some small stacks of needed runes without making stores the primary source. I don't think it was ever intended for people to buy thousands of them, and i think the extra effort to acquire large stacks was necessary.
As well as this, if you're going to add a buy-50. why not just buy-x? usually only round 150 runes are bought per world anyway

Sweet QoL changes this week, great job. :)

I'm a huge fan of the 5% magic damage boost on Ahrim's staff as well, seeing as it also provides +15 magic defence it might be worth bringing over the Master wand in some cases.

So, if you take just the "Yes" and "No" votes (26,814 / 31,349 = 85.53%) it passes. They've acknowledged that the discrepancy may be confusing, but I hope the website team can fix that sooner rather than later. For now, always look at the in-game poll results first. :)
